In Ayurveda, healthy digestion is not only the foundation of lasting wellness but it is also seen as the root of every imbalance and disease. Your digestive fire, known as agni in Sanskrit, not only governs the digestive process, but also directs critical physiological functions throughout the body, and plays an important role in mental and emotional health. Whether we are coping with mental issues such as brain fog or depression, weight issues or uncomfortable GI symptoms such as bloating, gas, or indigestion, often the underlying root problem is weak agni, or poor digestion.
In this workshop we will teach you basic dietary Ayurvedic principles and simple hacks for better digestion, improved absorption and optimal body weight. You will learn:
The power of eating to your unique constitution
How to avoid the common agni inhibitors and learn easy methods to rekindle your digestive fire
Tips to remove toxins and improve your digestive strength
The importance of a mind-body approach to improving digestion
How to select and blend our own personal digestive herbal teas and preparations
